35 Articles of Impeachment

Why is our news canceled? Why won’t Congress move on the issue of impeachment of Bush? It’s the question of the decade.  Where are the votes to back  the impeachment of this thug?

Last night, Congressman Dennis Kucinich, an unsung hero, laid out an extensive indictment of George W. Bush, occupier of the White House for the past eight years.

Despite the blackout in corporate media, Congressman Kucinich’s 35 articles of impeachment are all over the bandwidths of alternative media. I want to post them here for posterity, to show my support, for my own record, despite the complicity to block impeachment by the likes of Nancy Pelosi.

The articles of impeachment against Dick Cheney are still pending after all this time. America is obviously long past calling itself a nation of laws. It’s now a nation of mass murder, torture, illegal wars, obstruction of justice, obliteration of human rights, use of disaster for profit, violation of numerous constitutional laws, illegal spying against its own citizens, and crimes against humanity.

What you can do:

Email your Representatives to support Kucinich’s Articles of Impeachment

BUT, good news:  Scott McClellen, the little snitch, has agreed to testify under oath at the House Judiciary Committee on June 20. Watergate didn’t have the votes at first either. He will be the first person from this administration to show up. Everyone else has been in contempt by refusing to show up in front of the toothless committee. The media was impotent in its role to criticize the bush crime family and continues to do so. WHY?

Americans are too focused on the economy and the election to pay attention to the ongoing crimes of the bush regime.

More good news:

Congressman Wexler to Cosponsor Bush Impeachment

Today, Congressman Robert Wexler (D-FL), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, signed onto Congressman Dennis Kucinich’s (D-OH) Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush.  The Articles outline numerous allegations against President Bush, including his creation of a massive propaganda campaign to mislead the nation into war with Iraq, the illegal use of torture during interrogation, the authorization of a warrantless wiretapping program on American citizens, and the repetitive use of signing statements to negate legislation passed by Congress.

“President Bush deliberately created a massive propaganda campaign to sell the war in Iraq to the American people and the charges detailed in this impeachment resolution indicate an unprecedented abuse of executive power,” said Congressman Wexler.  “A decision by Congress to pursue impeachment is not an option, it is a sworn duty.  It is time for Congress to stand up and defend the Constitution against the blatant violations and illegalities of this Administration.  Our Founding Fathers bestowed upon Congress the power of impeachment, and it is now time that we use it to defend the rule of law from this corrupt Administration.”

This year Congressman Wexler launched a nationwide campaign to hold impeachment hearings for Vice President Dick …read more
