Crushing the World, One Lie at a Time

with one comment

Quite a bit to chew on today.

1. I’ve said it before. “Terrorism” equals anything that threatens the wealth and power of elite white men. This is the premise upon which all policy has been rammed through Congress for the past eight years in particular, and for the last 200-plus years in general. This reality is incontestible. Terrorism is as lucrative as petroleum under the weight of this old-guard mentality from which we struggle to extricate ourselves. Where are the jaws of life? The reality no one is willing to face is that There are no more leaders.

The time for centralized leadership has come to an end. Unfortunately, I doubt these pondscum psychopaths are going to allow a woman or a black man to usurp their all-powerful control. I can’t see them going gently into that good night where they all belong.

If I voted, I certainly wouldn’t vote for Hillary. It’s great that a woman could become president, but she’s the wrong woman. I know this because last fall when someone from the audience asked her husband during a presentation about what really happened on 911 he replied with indignant rage, “How dare you.” And if Hillary is selected (yes, selected, by super-delegates, since the people are clearly showing that their preference is not her) her husband will be at the helm again. It’s time to move on, folks.

There is a difference in the two Democratic candidates and make no mistake: that difference is age, not sex or ethnicity. The future does not look like the past!

Oh…and is anyone noticing that during these elections BOTH parties could be doing a fast one on the people while we aren’t looking….passing legislation, while Bush peels off yet more signing statements?

2. 911–Why are Architects and Engineers Re-examining the WTC Collapses?

Architects and Engineers are trained to design buildings that function well and withstand potentially destructive forces. However, the 3 high-rise buildings at the World Trade Center which “collapsed” on 9/11 (the Twin Towers plus WTC Building #7) presented us with a body of evidence (i.e.controlled demolition) that was clearly outside the scope of our training and experience.

In addition, the shock that hit us on that date from the repeated attacks and staggering loss of life has limited our ability to rationally evaluate what really happened. We therefore found ourselves relying solely upon the judgment of outside “experts”… read the rest>

Architectural and engineering professionals other supporters including A/E students have signed the petition demanding of Congress a truly independent 911 investigation.

3. Thought Crime: Last year the U.S. House of Representatives passedThought Crime HR 1955 titled the Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007. This bill is one of the most blatant attacks against the Constitution yet and actually defines thought crimes as homegrown terrorism. If passed into law, it will also establish a commission and a Center of Excellence to study and defeat so called thought criminals. Unlike previous anti-terror legislation, this bill specifically targets the civilian population of the United States and uses vague language to define homegrown terrorism. What are we going to do about this????4. After failing to anticipate Hamas’s victory over Fatah in the 2006 Palestinian election, the White House cooked up yet another scandalously covert and self-defeating Middle East debacle: part Iran-contra, part Bay of Pigs. With confidential documents, corroborated by outraged former and current U.S. officials, David Rose reveals how Resident Bush, Rice, and Deputy National-Security Adviser Elliott Abrams backed an armed force under Fatah strongman Muhammad Dahlan, touching off a bloody civil war in Gaza and leaving Hamas stronger than ever. Read David Rose’s The Gaza Bombshell in the current edition of Vanity Fair.

4. Telecom Immunity–House and Senate Democratic leaders are reportedly preparing to cave in to threats by Resident Bush and grant some form of immunity to the telecommunication companies that helped the government spy on Americans. Read Amy Goodman’s interview with Salon’s Glenn Greenwald on the subject.

  1. “The time for centralized leadership has come to an end”

i hope you are right. unfortunately, it seems, that battle has only just begun.

all 3 candidates likely to win the nomination are emboldening world government and centralizing power. they may fight amongst themselves, but when anyone challenges their game they will band together, that much is true.
